1. Among similar products, it features lower insertion impedance, reducing signal attenuation.
2. Under the same test voltage and waveform, residual voltage is at least 5-20V lower than comparable products.
3. Sturdy, flame-retardant ABS housing suitable for various hazardous environments.
4. Provides full protection modes for line-to-line and line-to-ground.
5. Fast response time, less than 10ns.
ESP Surge Arrester Description:
1. Suitable for use on ten-way LSA-PLUS disconnection modules.
2. For PSTN and U-interface ISDN lines, use ESPKT1 and ESPK10T1.
3. For S/T-interface ISDN lines, use ESPKT2 and ESPK10T2.
4. For single-line protection, combine ESPKT1 or ESPKT2 with ESPKE10.
5. Use ESPK10T1 or ESPK10T2 to protect all ten lines on the disconnection module.
ESP Surge Arrester Applications:
Use these devices to protect PBX switches, ISDN, and other telecommunications equipment equipped with LSA-PLUS disconnection modules.
ESP Surge Arrester Performance and Advantages:
1. Low-cost protection for multiple telephone lines.
2. Low let-through voltage on all conductors.
3. Multiple surge protection capability, withstands at least ten 5kA transient overvoltages (tested to ITU K20 standard).
4. Color-coded housing distinguishes different protectors, preventing confusion when installed on the same distribution frame.
5. Quick and convenient plug-in installation.
6. In larger installations, ESPK10T1/2 can protect all ten lines on LSA-PLUS disconnection modules.
7. ESP KT1/2 allows protection of only the lines you need.
8. Use ESP KE10 for fault-free grounding, supporting up to ten ESP KT1/2 units per disconnection module.
9. Built-in grounding terminal eliminates the need for KE10.
10. ESP 10T1/2 features multi-point grounding terminals with a large contact area, superior to similar products.
11. UK Oftel certified NS/G/1235/W/100025.
ESP Surge Arrester Installation:
Install protectors on all lines entering and exiting each building (including lines to other building extensions). Identify lines requiring protection, insert the protector in series (ensuring correct orientation), and plug ESP K10T1/2 directly into the disconnection module requiring protection. ESP KT1/2 must be installed via the ESP KE10 grounding strip. Clip the ESP KE10 onto the disconnection module, then insert ESP KT1/2 into the respective lines needing protection. If the protector exceeds its rated capacity, it will sacrifice itself without causing a short circuit—requiring replacement while preventing subsequent transient overvoltage damage to equipment.
